Chase Up was founded in 1984. Initially selling quality readymade garments at affordable prices under one roof, we have always focused on maximizing customer convenience. We firmly believe that fashion & style is achievable for all even when inexpensive.
Today, Chase Up is one of the largest department store chains in Pakistan with stores in Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad and Gujranwala. Chase Up offers a complete shopping experience with everything under one roof, from Grocery to Garments to Crockery and much more.

Why did you choose Retail Pro Prism? What business challenges do you plan to solve with Prism?
Prior to Retail Pro Prism, we had relied on locally built software. However, the journey ahead for Chase Up poses a number of competitive challenges which require our systems to possess a greater degree of robustness, flexibility and agility, and we found this in Retail Pro Prism. We understand that we cannot serve our customers otherwise.

Now that we have deployed Retail Pro Prism, we expect to fuel our growth, both vertically as well as horizontally, at a much faster pace.
Already the experience of launching our new Pharmacy vertical has been smooth because Retail Pro caters to the market’s pharmacy scenarios and business processes. So we did not require any new development and minimized the learning curve.
Part of Retail Pro Prism’s strength as a software is its ability to integrate with other solutions that retailers use. What plugins or integrations do you use with Retail Pro Prism for your specific business needs?
We integrated Retail Pro Prism to our Oracle e-Business Suite system and to weighing scales. We are also using several of the ready-made plugins available for Retail Pro Prism that add to the platform’s capabilities so we can improve our efficiency:
How are you building omnichannel with Retail Pro?
Using Retail Pro Prism’s API, we integrated our website, enabling us to make our store inventory availability visible online to our web customers.
Going forward, we also plan to integrate our Contact Center with Retail Pro Prism so that the calling customer’s profile and order details can be provided to the call center agent in real time, enabling them to provide personalized service to the caller.

What are some of your plans for growth, expansion, customer initiatives, etc.?
In addition to our conventional model of large format stores, we are now also venturing into smaller neighborhood grocery stores. This enables us to be closer to our customer and provide them with variety at a very competitive price.
We are also expanding our e-commerce reach and we feel that Retail Pro Prism will provide the much-needed scalability for that purpose.
