Why did you choose Retail Pro Prism? What business challenges do you plan to solve with Prism?
We manage four subsidiaries, including a wholesale subsidiary along with our retail stores, so we needed a POS system that would provide HQ with up to date data without manually polling. We also needed a better and modern POS System for our stores.
Retail Pro offered a lot of possibilities, from HR functions like Time Keeping to Stock management, which we could use both now and as our needs change with growth over time.
We also integrated Pastel Accounting to our Retail Pro.
How are you using the RIOT RFID for Retail Pro integration?
When we started selling online, we realized we were losing sales because we did not have the correct inventory to fulfill the web orders.
We needed to ensure we had accurate inventory, so we use RIOT Insight now to manage physical stock quantities at the stores.
In the past, we would do manual stock takes once a year. We would print out a list of our expected inventory from Retail Pro, attach that to a clipboard, manually check off each line, and then manually capture this info back into Retail Pro. It would take us about 3 weeks to get our inventory records up to date.
We have about 3000 inventory units per store, so with RIOT for Retail Pro it now takes us about 6 minutes each morning to do a full count of each store. We pick up document errors weekly and correct our inventory immediately so we always have as accurate an inventory count as possible.
