DUBAI, UAE - DECEMBER 13, 2015 Retail Pro International unified top specialty retail executives from the Middle East and Africa and retail technology experts at the 2015 Retail Pro Middle East Retail Summit to discuss how new directions like omnichannel are disrupting retail in the Middle East market’s hyper-growth.
The summit ran in full force on December 10 with over 100 leading retailers from the Middle East and North Africa region representing their brands, including Al-Futtaim, Adidas, and Polo Luxury Group. Breakout sessions triggered deliberation on customer-centric approaches to retail engagement, building omnichannel in the Middle East, and driving loyalty through customer experience excellence, and included a panel of regional retail experts: Dr. Vidya Nandagopal of University of Dubai, Adrian Shaw of Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group overseeing IDdesign and United Colors of Benetton, and Sumit Bathla of Al Futtaim.
